Are you looking for the authorization code to register for my forums?
The code is "murphy".
Oh boy...
Every time I add a post I remind myself that it's been a very very long time since my last post. Ugh, I really should make use of this site more than I do...
Anyways, on to the real news: I've been kinda slacking on the One Year Project, up until recently. The good news is that I've picked up the slack and dove right in to getting some tracks together. I've finally picked up an electric guitar again...and it actually felt right.
Everything is still very preliminary, but I am sure that I'm making progress. Hell..I might even have some proof of my progress up here in a bit (remember, I work on valve time). :)
In any event, things are rolling, creative juices are gestating and I have an odd sense that I might actually make my deadline. I'm hopeful, and that makes me feel good.
Wish me luck!

Finally, I finished Superior To No One's website. King Morgan made the design, Durstin clipped the images and made all the initial CSS site, and I did all the code.
Honestly, it was a ton of work. It was fun, though I got stuck on a few things...that's why its release was deterred. Truthfully, I'm pretty proud of what we've made. It's probably the biggest web project I've completed to date. I can start talking real geeky now about all the cool stuff that's going on in the background, but I'm sure all 2 of my readers don't give a shit.
So, in the near future, hopefully I'll wrap things up with that site and be able to make it a little more modular.
Anyways, that is all. I'm just glad that this project has finally seen the light of day.
After a long discussion with my life as to what I really want to do with my life...I came to a conclusion...I want to do a little bit of everything.
Since I answered my own question, I've decided to start my own series of projects, which I will call the "One Year Project".
Here are this year's stipulations. Create a 12+ track of musical material that is suitable to be a part of a video game soundtrack. The second stipulation is that I should have at least 8 tracks that I would consider B-sides, or of lesser quality but still could fit into the video game soundtrack genre.
I purchased a 49 key keyboard controller that came with some software. On top of that, I've found an excellent resource of free software/electronic instruments that will aid in my project.
So, what's this mean? September 29th 2009, I should have enough material to release a 12 track album and an 8 track EP.
If you're one of those few people who actually browse my site, keep in touch because I plan on posting information and samples detailing my progress. I've already got a few tracks that seem to be a good starting point. Boy...it's going to take me a while to get back into the groove of writing music.

I'm back!
Thanks to poor service at 1and1.com (1 & 1), I decided to move hosts. I'm now on midphase.com, along with my other domain, stnoclan.com.
That's it for now! Have a good one!
