Announcing the "One Year Project"
Wednesday, October 08, 2008 19:26

After a long discussion with my life as to what I really want to do with my life...I came to a conclusion...I want to do a little bit of everything.

Since I answered my own question, I've decided to start my own series of projects, which I will call the "One Year Project".

Here are this year's stipulations. Create a 12+ track of musical material that is suitable to be a part of a video game soundtrack. The second stipulation is that I should have at least 8 tracks that I would consider B-sides, or of lesser quality but still could fit into the video game soundtrack genre.

I purchased a 49 key keyboard controller that came with some software. On top of that, I've found an excellent resource of free software/electronic instruments that will aid in my project.

So, what's this mean? September 29th 2009, I should have enough material to release a 12 track album and an 8 track EP.

If you're one of those few people who actually browse my site, keep in touch because I plan on posting information and samples detailing my progress. I've already got a few tracks that seem to be a good starting point. Boy...it's going to take me a while to get back into the groove of writing music.

why is evryone so excited about iphone3g?
Thursday, July 10, 2008 18:34

honestly, I don't understand why everyone is so damn excited over the apple 3g iphone. it's cheaper and twice as fast. who cares?

I mean, the real issue here is that apple didn't release the phone with 3g in the first place. now that everyone went out and bought a twice as expensive and half as fast phone...are they really going to be shell out the money to buy another phone?

the answer is yes...only because there's one company in the entire world that could screw up so badly and do so well and then make their customers stay updated in technology and upgrade their existing piece of useless cellular technology.

ps - sorry for all the capitalization and spelling errors...I made this post from my phone.

Music from the days of the past
Thursday, June 12, 2008 20:30

So, I was playing some TF2 recently with my buddies. One of them is in a hardcore/metal band (Ever So Cold). It got me thinking about the days in which I used to dabble in music/recording.

So, I found my old "demo" cd and a few extra songs here and there. Now you can download them for free...because I never finished any of them, and I might as well put them out there.

The entire demo cd

Download Each Song separately (if you wish):

01 Piano Song (version 1).mp3

02 Now I'm Nothing.mp3 (a Nine Inch Nails Remake)

03 Something Better (demo).mp3 (Originally by "Dark Project", a previous band of mine)

04 One (version 1).mp3

05 Endure (demo).mp3

06 Heavy (version 1 demo).mp3

07 Endure (demo).mp3

08 Can't you see- (demo).mp3

09 Can't you see- (demo w-vocals).mp3

10 Attack of the Pats (demo).mp3

11 Attack of the Pats (demo v2).mp3

12 Attack of the Pats (demo v3).mp3

13 Gabriel (demo).mp3

14 Gabriel (demo w-vocals).mp3

Here's a few random ones:

01 The Four Dictators.mp3 (good remake of Kashmir/Come With Me)

AoT_and_Crtl_Alt_Del-Somber_Seperation.mp3 (A song that I collaborated on with some random dude on the interwebs)

Deluxe_Edition_v1.Mp3
